Did my last semi long run until the marathon!! Woohoo! Taper time begins now! Anyway-i got up and did 7 miles at 7:27 pace, then 5 at slightly faster than marathon pace. (First two miles down, 3 at the track). Splits for 5 fast miles were 6:17, 6:19, 6:30, 6:27, 5:59. (6:19 average) My plan was to do 6 (not 5) tough tempo miles, but ran out of time. Felt a bit tired today-didn't sleep well and I think the hard workouts are taking its toll on me, but thats ok bc now I will be tapering! Boo yaa!
