Did a long run today of 14 miles. Did a loop, then ran to the track and did miles 9, 10, 11, 12 at the track and ran the last two home. (did have one short potty break at home) My goal was just to run it at a comfortably hard pace the whole time.
My splits were 8:25, 7:36, 7:01, 7:22, 7:49, 8:13, 7:59, 7:22, 7:17, 7:28, 7:24, 7:21, 7:42, 8:06 (average pace was 7:40) Not feeling the best today-my legs started feeling tired around 7-8 miles into it. Glad to be finished.
