Did 17 outside today. My goal was to run the first 9 easy, then run the last 8 at marathon pace. First 9 miles were at 7:30 average pace, then my fast splits were (first 3 miles downhill) 6:26, 6:06, 6:13, (last 5 at the track) 6:25, 6:35, 6:30, 6:28, 6:13. (6:22 average pace) (a little faster than I was expecting). Did have one potty stop and 1 water/gu stop. Felt really good about this one...Finished up with some strides.
