8 mile run. First workout after the half iron. I probably could have ran every day this week and been OK. I feel pretty well recovered. I like to reward myself after a good race by not training for a week. It also helps curb injuries.
Next week I'll start getting back into it. I have the St. George marathon to focus on now. I'm not too concerned about times on this one. I'm going to be running with my wife, just for the fun of it. Running for fun and not hurting? This is going to be something new to me. |
