Running Accomplishments:

-Distance running as of 2001 -11 total marathons -Boston Marathon (2006) -10k PR 33:55 -1/2 marathon PR 1:16:57 -Marathon PR (2006 St. George 2:45:09) -5k PR (Don't know, hate the distance)

Short-Term Running Goals:

-Compete in the Utah Half Triathlon!!

Did it, what a great challenge!!

Ramp up my weekly mileage.

PR at the St. George Marathon in 2009.  Didn't make the Lottery.  Doing the Top Of Utah instead.  It's a 4:30 minute tougher race.  I Still hope to PR!!

Long-Term Running Goals:

-Be a life time runner for the love of running.  Mix it up.  Try something new.  Do a full Iron Man. 

Personal:

Married for 11 years!!  I have 3 daughters.  My wife runs marathons as well.  I'm a park ranger.

5 miles at 7:30 per mile. Ramped up on the weights,  hit the heavy bag for awhile.  Push and sit ups.  I was throwing the leg kick over the head today.  I'm not very limber, but I'm getting there.

I'm starting to feel a litte under the weather, I hope I'm not coming down with something.

 

New shoes.  Asics Frantic 4, 5 miles.

A little under the weather the last couple of days.

5 mile run this morning at the usual pace of 7:30 minutes per mile.

Push and sit ups, Weights and heavy bag.

Frantics 5 miles.

5 mile run.  Push and sit ups.  Weights, really starting to feel strong.  Heavybag.  Really starting to land them legs kicks.  I think a little too hard, I hurt my hip a bit.  I think I'm going to live.

I feel like I'm getting stronger.  I've put on about 15 pounds of muscle with all strength training I've been doing.

Away on training for work today, out of state.  I'm proud to say I actually worked out.  I have a hard time working out when I'm away from home.

5 miles in the gym on the worlds nastiest treadmill.  Man that thing was hard and off.  It said I was running a 4:40 per mile pace and I know it wasn't over a 7:30 per mile pace.  Unless I got in much better shape overnight.

Did my weight and push and sit up drills as well.  No heavy bag to hit.

Made it home this morning. 

5 miles at home is a lot better.

Weights, push and sit ups.  Hit the heavy bag for awhile.

Weight is 158 lbs.  My waist is pretty much the same as when I was running 15 miles per day, I'm just 19 lbs heavier now.  I'm putting some muscle on and I think the misses likes it!!
