Short-Term Running Goals:

I want to run 3-4 days a week, and increase the mileage on my long run each week.

Long-Term Running Goals:

In 2009 I would like to do 2 half marathons and 1 sprint triathlon.

Personal:

I have always been athletic, but started running more seriously at the start of 2007. I had to take a few months off in the summer and fall. I had twins boys in Oct 2007 (hence the time off). I lost a lot of weight when I had them, but managed to gain some of it back. We have a double stroller, which is the hardest workout when I take the boys for a jog.

So I set out to meet up with Mik'l at the entrance of her housing complex. She was going to do 4 miles and I was going to do 5 (it is 1/2 a mile from my house to hers. Anyway, I didn't really look at my watch because it just depresses me. But at 4 miles I looked at my watch and it was about 43 minutes. I had to make up a little distance to factor in from Mik'l's house to the entrance, so I made up that distance and finished my 5 mile run in 55 minutes!!!! I am so excited you don't even know. I finally feel like I have hit my stride, like I did before I had to stop running a year ago because of the twins.

Great job on the run! I'll be hitting that stride someday.........it's been about 3 months and I've come down from a 14-15min mile to about 12min miles.

I hate pushing the stroller, I make my husband do it, so kudos for taking that effort.

Twins, man that must be crazy. That's my husbands dream, but my nightmare, still must be fun still.
