4.5 miles this evening. I went to the track with Miki, and she's running better and better every week. When we started out, she was struggling to do even a 15 minute mile -- last night she did 11:30 and it looked easy. I figure we'll keep doing a mile a day through this week and next, get her down around 11:00 pace and then start increasing the distance slowly. Our goal is to get her doing 3 miles at 11:00 pace or under -- it will take awhile, but she's already making big improvements. If only she would start a blog..... |
