My name is Eugenio I was born near Rome, Italy, in 1972 and lived there for 29 years, then in 2001 I moved to Salt Lake City for work and for seven years and one month that was my home, since 2008 I am back to Italy. I started running in 2003 when I realized I could not ride my bike throughout the Utah winter.

This morning, due to the recent snow showers, trains to Rome were on a "emergency schedule" (it means their schedule was going to be random), I decided to go running at 8am wait for the sun to melt the snow/ice and then going to Rome hoping that by 10 the train schedule would be almost back to normal. Everything went according to the plan with the only problem that my legs were slow to start and the snow/ice on the road made the whole run less pleasant than the previous days. The blue sky and snow everywhere was incredible. 7 miles in 1:20, nothing really fast.

Amazing. I hope that the inevitable disruptions are not too painful. School-age kids must be thrilled about it though! And it sounds like you're enjoying the snowy landscape as well in your runs, that's a good attitude to enjoy this unusual event rather than getting frustrated with it.
