Ran home from the Scout Board of Reviews.  There were a lot of strange people out, and I felt slightly uncomfortable, so I cut it a little short.

I should tell you the embarrassing story some time of my first parent meeting when I was a Girl Scout leader.

...or maybe I shouldn't :)

Good job trusting your instincts Camille.

Walter - I was thinking that while running home. I know the Varsity Scouts and some of the Venture Scouts do a tri. in March, so it would only help them train, right? :o)

Rachel - You are funny. Where your daughters Girl Scouts?

Mike - Thanks! I don't know what would have happened (if anything) if I didn't follow my instincts, but I'm glad I didn't have to find out.

For a little while (about 2 years) they both were. I was a leader for the brownie troop one year. It was quite an adventure :)

Now thats what I call multi tasking! You would be the bomb with them if you showed them up. Every year our stake puts on a 5k run and our bishop puts out a challenge to try and beat our ward! Its funny, they had some good runners from Bingham High School last year who werent even in the stake and I thought they were going to waste me so I started out as fast as I could, my first mile was 4:50 and I knew I couldnt hold that pace but I wanted to see if they would burn out before me and they did. I beat the fastest one by 12 seconds. He faded worse then me. I did a 5:45 2nd mile and then a 6:15 3rd mile. Funny huh? If I would have paced off of them they would have creamed me.
