Today was a good day for a short run.  Funny how I'm calling 3.75 miles a short run when just a month or two ago I would have called that a long run.  LOL.

Total Miles: 21.85

Miles Left: 78.15

Melanie and I went for a 1.67 mile walk this evening.  I'm hoping I can grow a little runing team like Lybi is...  :o)  So far she is enjoying it.

From Camille on Thu, Sep 18, 2008 at 10:16:58

Thanks. It's a good thing I got up this morning and ran... it looks like I'm going to have a very hard day ahead of me. :o(

From Walter on Thu, Sep 18, 2008 at 21:36:41

I worked all day up in the unitas that are close to 8000 feet! I noticed my legs were dead tired. Obviously by this mornings workout but my guys were telling me how their legs felt heavy. It really does affect you. I had to kick their butts in gear to make our schedule today! Thats why im so late coming home.

From Camille on Thu, Sep 18, 2008 at 21:44:07

It sounds like you had an exhausting day! Where are the unitas?

From Walter on Thu, Sep 18, 2008 at 21:55:22

They are East of Salt lake city and East of Park city. We actually worked East of Heber which is on the back side of the Wasatch mountains. I feel like a social studies teacher! Its getting so pretty up there! the leaves are turning colors and fall is almost here.

From Camille on Fri, Sep 19, 2008 at 10:24:19

That is one thing I wish we had, seasons! I would love to see the leaves change colors

I think your weather in the winter months is absolutely awesome! Its the perfect running temps and Im truely jealous during those months. Think of me running in 2 feet of snow fall.

From Camille on Sat, Sep 20, 2008 at 10:04:38

Oh I will :oP. Especially after all your bragging about your weather this summer. LOL

From Walter on Sat, Sep 20, 2008 at 11:12:50

Was I bragging? Im sorry, be light on me ok!?

From Camille on Sat, Sep 20, 2008 at 11:33:06

Ha ha ha (evil chuckling!). We shall see.

From Walter on Sat, Sep 20, 2008 at 12:10:32

ooooh evil chuckling huh? Well, would it help to tell you today was a freezing cold run and it snowed a little bit? lol

From Camille on Sat, Sep 20, 2008 at 13:13:46

snow there already??? goodness!!! I ran at 7am today and it was HOT! too bad we can't split the difference.

From Walter on Sat, Sep 20, 2008 at 13:21:49

Im just kiddin' Camille, it didnt snow. Im testing your compassion out here!? lol I got you! It was actually overcast and cool. About 60 degrees and perfect for running a hard workout! It feels like a perfect spring day to you guys. Im not rubbing this in by the way. Ive realized I havnt gotten a nick name for you yet. Youll have to give me some ideas so I dont offend. lol cheers

From Camille on Sat, Sep 20, 2008 at 13:29:24

That does seem comfortable for running, and maybe a little chilly if you aren't moving. It was definately too hot this morning for a hard workout. I was going to do 5 miles but felt guilty having Melanie in the heat for that long.

As far as nicknames goes, I have had a whole slu of them over the years... I'm sure you won't offend me. Heck, I work with Burt... (who's idea of a compliment when I told him I was pregnant was to comment on how he'd figure because my hips are spreading!)

From Walter on Sat, Sep 20, 2008 at 13:57:46

Red, I hear you there! so its hot huh? Just keep running, just keep running! lol
