I'm a LOVING the weather!  For everyone that has enjoyed great weather for the last few months and want it back, forget it... LOL  I'm being selffish and don't want to give it back.  It was nice to have my window open today :o).  Okay, I'm done rubbing it in!

I went for a long run today, and after 8 miles, I ran past a friend's house.  This particular friend has been really busy and hard to pin down, so when I saw her out front gardening, I decided to stop and talk to her.  She is pregnant with number 5 and has been sick, so I like to check up on her.  (Plus, I don't have too many friends... definately not enough to start "miss placing" them).  So, I sacrificed the other 3 miles I was going to run, but in the end, it was worth it.

Oh, and today my mom taught me how to sew as we were sewing Melanie's Halloween costume.  We have one more thing to sew (the hat).  She is going to be the cutest Strawberry Shortcake ever.  Sewing is actually fun.  Maybe I'm going domestic. :o)

It only counts as a visiting teaching visit if you have a spiritual message and a prayer.

LOL well... she isn't in my ward.

Wow, you run a long ways, chica. 11 miles...is that your standard Saturday run length? I should have called you on Friday and done the first 5-6 with you. I need SOMEONE to give me a dope-slapping for not registering for the Del Sol Relay yet. I don't know what's wrong with me--it's like I'm paralyzed! Do you really think I can do it? I am freaking out about it.

From Camille on Sat, Oct 11, 2008 at 22:50:18

Yes! I really think you can do it! And it isn't too late. We are going to be in van 2, and there are some easier legs in that van. Get your info to Michelle (from Burt's email) and do it! You will be so happy you did!

Di you get my email about the 5K in Novemer?

Camille --

Great run and glad you were able to catch up with your friend!! Unfortunately you reminded me that I have to sew two of my kids' halloween costumes this week!! Stink!! For some reason every year atleast 2 of th 5 insist on dressing up as something that they don't sell at a store. This year it's a Charlie Brown and Harlem Globetrotter (old school style) that are causing the pain!! I'm far too much of a push-over!! Thanks for the reminder!!

** Btw, I'm sure she will be the cutest Strawberry Shortcake ever! :)

OK Ok, I did it!!! I'm still hyperventilating, but I did it. I don't think I got your email, but I should check it. I don't check it as often as I should. I check my blog a LOT more often.

It's called outrun the FBI. The registration fee goes to help the FBI stop children preditors on the internet. It looks like a really fun event. We can have a team of 5 or more where you'd still run individually, but be eligiable for team prizes on top of the individual prizes.

I thought it looked like a really fun event.
