My ankles are very tender as a result of my race on Saturday.  I have been doing some nice hills on occasion, but when you're trying to run all out, it sure does work them over.  It took me a little bit before they felt okay.  I just did my three mile loop this morning.  Typically that involves running on the east side of the canal.  But "they" are putting a sidewalk in, so I had to run on the west side.  That should make it nice.  I wonder if they're gonna do the entire length of the canal where I run.  It's probably about 0.6 miles.  If "they" are, I should probably good game "them."

Splits - 8:54, 8:52, 8:50

Too bad you don't have beefy kankles.... they might be able to take the extra beating on race days.

From rAtTLeTrAp on Mon, Apr 04, 2011 at 15:04:59 from 75.196.79.8

This is a sympathy comment since I saw you on the lone faithfuls list. Did you notice that list and the hot discussions list disappeared almost immediately after you told Sasha he was hot? :)

From Burt on Mon, Apr 04, 2011 at 15:05:05 from 206.19.214.144

Not only would that be ideal, it would be sexy.

From Burt on Mon, Apr 04, 2011 at 15:06:19 from 206.19.214.144

Trap - you commented 6 seconds before me. I did notice that. And thanks for the sympathy.

Hey Burt, Kam mentioned you in his race report: http://kam.fastrunningblog.com/blog-04-02-2011.html

"West-side~ REPRESENT!"

Love the west side of town, the west sides of canals, and the west sides of beefy kankles.

From Lily on Mon, Apr 04, 2011 at 16:36:51 from 67.199.178.210

From Burt on Mon, Apr 04, 2011 at 16:38:54 from 206.19.214.144

QP - the west side is where the moss grows.

Lily - don't you think Sasha is hot? I do. You don't have to answer that.

From Lily on Mon, Apr 04, 2011 at 16:41:17 from 67.199.178.210

My lips are sealed.... And I've seen the guy in person many a time BTW. He's a a jolly fella about running that's for sure.

From rAtTLeTrAp on Mon, Apr 04, 2011 at 16:45:06 from 75.196.79.8

Lily - for the record, I didn't say Sasha was hot, Burt did. I'm pretty sure I choked on some water too when he did it :)

From Karen on Mon, Apr 04, 2011 at 17:37:48 from 173.14.8.17

What do you mean "they"? Not only beefy cankles, with the change in weather, they will now be sweaty cankles... BTW* the sweat is why I didn't "good game" you on yesterday's run!!

From Derunzo on Mon, Apr 04, 2011 at 18:01:04 from 98.229.131.173

Ahhh yes.... Cankles with a "C". My bad.

From Burt on Mon, Apr 04, 2011 at 19:38:27 from 206.19.214.144

"They"! The government. The conspiracy theorists. I don't know who "they" are. Nobody really does!

Deruzo - I didn't want to say anything, but so I gave you the benefit of the doubt that kankles were knee/ankles :)

From DaleG on Mon, Apr 04, 2011 at 21:45:31 from 152.216.7.5

Dale - I love the Pet Shop Boys. Just love them. Now, don't ever come to my blog again. JK.

Merri - You are so random. Speaking of plate tectonics, in 2nd grade I thought I was so smart for realizing that Madagascar fits right into the eastern coast of Africa.

You have really hurt my feelings with the clown comment on Karens blog-I have changed my picture--take it back, clowns are not scarey!!!

From Burt on Tue, Apr 05, 2011 at 17:37:15 from 206.19.214.144

Okay I take it back! Clown are cute!

And there's no way I'll have nightmares about you being under my bed tonight. No way.

From Karen on Wed, Apr 06, 2011 at 13:32:45 from 173.14.8.17

WOW! Squirrel is a beautiful clown!
