Day 9 P90X - Plyometrics

By popular demand, here's a video of me doing P90X.  Yes, go ahead, make fun.  I wouldn't post it if I didn't want to be humiliated.  You can tell that one of the moves is out of sequence by the amount of sweat accumulated.

Wow that looks like hard work, your balance is good though, I think I might fall over on the last one! That must be a 11 for sweat levels? But isn't it like 100 degrees anyway? probably why there was a dehumidifier in the background...

From Sammie Howard on Wed, Jul 14, 2010 at 04:38:22 from 78.32.130.9

Burt you look pretty darn sweaty at the end lol.... so who is doing it right you or your son ??

From Derunzo on Wed, Jul 14, 2010 at 07:28:12 from 65.220.66.195

From Rye on Wed, Jul 14, 2010 at 07:43:58 from 174.27.108.29

That young man seems to have alot more energy than you...with less sweat

From allie on Wed, Jul 14, 2010 at 09:58:58 from 174.23.226.74

why has nobody commented on how sweaty you are?

From ChrisM on Wed, Jul 14, 2010 at 10:18:37 from 130.88.123.4

There once was a man called Brett

Who was always in a sweat

Rhett bet Brett not to sweat

There he slept and tried not to frett,

but wept as he started to sweat and lost the bet.

Poor Brett!

From jun on Wed, Jul 14, 2010 at 10:26:13 from 66.239.250.209

Brutal.

From Chad on Wed, Jul 14, 2010 at 10:57:20 from 168.177.153.171

Turn down the thermostat.

From Burt on Wed, Jul 14, 2010 at 11:57:40 from 206.19.214.144

Is that all you guys have is sweat? What about my fat booty? What about my ugly mug? Come on! Let's hear it!

From SlowJoe on Wed, Jul 14, 2010 at 11:57:53 from 84.11.148.246

Now that looks tough - simply by virtue of watching that, I now no longer need to work out today.

From KP on Wed, Jul 14, 2010 at 12:08:34 from 65.208.22.25

My God! The sweat!

From Burt on Wed, Jul 14, 2010 at 12:23:03 from 206.19.214.144

Really KP? Sweat? Fine.

Not long after that last clip, the shirt came off. You should have heard it land. Like a tidal wave.

That is my son in the background. He looks like a Mexican jumping bean. I'm pretty sure he won't be able to walk today.

From Chad on Wed, Jul 14, 2010 at 13:02:55 from 168.177.153.171

Did you need one of those big carpet drying fans when you were done?

From Burt on Wed, Jul 14, 2010 at 13:13:14 from 206.19.214.144

Well, we were able to use a dewatering system on me, and now we have enough salt for the next two years.

From Sammie Howard on Wed, Jul 14, 2010 at 15:58:00 from 86.186.47.229

From JD on Thu, Jul 15, 2010 at 15:52:10 from 70.96.78.157

No way I could do that workout today.

You're a good example to your kids.

From Kelli on Thu, Jul 15, 2010 at 16:23:54 from 71.219.99.30

All I noticed was the idiot talking in the background----that guy drives me nuts!! So, I just leave the DVD's on my shelf collecting dust!!

Now, your son my be a jumping bean, BUT he took breaks and you did not. Therefore, you kicked his trash.

From Lyman on Thu, Jul 15, 2010 at 19:56:21 from 75.169.105.151

I got tired from just watching you!

From Burt on Thu, Jul 15, 2010 at 20:18:48 from 206.19.214.144

JD - This was the first full workout my son has done with me not counting Ab Ripper X the other night. We'll see if he can keep it going.

Kelli - People have mixed feelings about Tony Horton. Some people worship him. Some people think he's cheesy. I on the other hand worship cheese. Really. I have a shrine.

Lyman - Glad you're still around. Inactive bloggers get taken off my Favorites List. You came this close. LOL!

From Kelli on Fri, Jul 16, 2010 at 00:01:25 from 71.219.99.30

Well, who wouldn't worship cheese???

I just got back from a nice little bike ride (on my son's ghetto Wal Mart dirt bike) and guess who I ran in to (not literally, I saw her walking so I stopped my bike before I hit her)? Our good friend Roberta. She said to tell you he, so I came right home to do it.

Roberta says HI.

From Scott Wesemann on Fri, Jul 16, 2010 at 13:11:02 from 66.239.250.209

Burt- Your guns are a little bigger since the last time I saw you :) HOLYMOTHEROFSWEAT-BATMAN!

From Burt on Fri, Jul 16, 2010 at 13:16:16 from 206.19.214.144

Kelli - Roberta is so tiny, huh? Tell her hi :)

Scott - LOL!!! I should have wore black.

From Kelli on Sun, Jul 18, 2010 at 10:54:15 from 71.219.99.30

The entire female side of the family is tiny. We had a good chat you. She thinks your are quite the stand up guy.

From Burt on Sun, Jul 18, 2010 at 19:20:37 from 68.225.214.248

Stand up guy? I pulled the wool over her eyes.

From Kelli on Sun, Jul 18, 2010 at 20:47:50 from 71.219.99.30
