Still here, still pregnant.  We're going on a really long walk on the Boulevard when James gets off work tonight!  I'm feeling waaaay too good to supposedly be due in 1.5 days!  Besides some heartburn and maybe a few other small complaints here and there, I'm really not that uncomfortable. It's not that I don't want her to come on her own time (and I know first babies sometimes go over), it's just that my last day of work is tomorrow night and I'd really like my 12 weeks of FMLA to include her and not waiting around. =0)

We watched some childbirth shows and videos the other day.  I couldn't stop watching James' face, it was hilarious!  I've seen my share of births because of school and work, but he really hasn't seen anything at all.  Afterwards I thought he would be totally scared, but he is now ready to tackle this thing head-on!  Guess that's what he needed! :)

Feeling good and having extra energy is a good sign. My first baby was 12 days overdue. She was born on the day of my State Board Exam. Incidently she is now a nurse practitioner. I guess she was going to nursing school in vetro! Hehe! :) I know that anxious feeling, wanting to spend every precious day of the 12 weeks FMLA with your sweet baby instead of waiting!

Glad to know the daddy-to-be is all psyched up for the occasion. You're great at prepping him. :)

Any day now, baby girl! Can't wait to hear of her safe and happy arrival! :)

I keep waiting for that magical text: "She's here and baby and momma are doing well!!!" :) :) :)

Thanks Allie! :)

Smooth, that is CRAZY! 12 days over AND it happened to be right on the day of boards! I bet you were going crazy. That's cute she became a NP. Good for her! :) Funny thing about James is he's the one that says "we need to watch some videos or something" haha. He's really excited to meet her, just nervous about everything surrounding the birth. I don't blame him, I kind am, too!

Teena, I will let you guys know as soon as she decides to have her birthday! :) :)

You are SO good and patient. With my first my husband and I both were laughing at the birth videos...yeah, we were young and immature! :) I don't think the labor and birth ever get easy to think about, always scary.

Rachel - I'm trying to be patient....my patience is really running thin though (actually, James would probably say it was gone a week ago LOL). It's hard to know if I should just wait it out or get induced at 41 weeks (this thursday). I would REALLY like my body to say when it's time though! Ugh! More is happening today, so hopefully we're getting somewhere. "action" like this has happened and then stopped though, so it's hard to not be discouraged! Oh well. Like my mother-in-law said, she's never known any woman to be pregnant forever...which is very comforting to think about because I feel like I will be! Good think I'm not too uncomfortable. (PS - just wanted you to know I purposefully didn't comment on your blog or FB because of your latest post so you wouldn't feel obligated to write back... but as for that, I wouldn't worry about it too much, it's nice to stay connected to the outside world when you're home with kids all day! You're a great mom so don't even worry about getting on to blog or FB :) )

well, I'm stuck trying to get bank stuff done today. So, while on hold I'm getting my FB fix in :)

I'm sorry you are at 'the end'!! Those last few days/weeks drag...on...for...ev...er!

OH, I was seeing that you were close and thinking the baby had come, and then scrolled through and NOPE!!! I went 11 days over with my first. Just enjoy the sleep, right????

GOOD LUCK, any day or minute now!
