I'm excited for the first two races I have lined up!  Allie's Wedding 5K on the 23rd and the Centerville 5K on July 4th.  I hate 5K's, but I'm really excited for these since they are my first races! :)  Now that I know my insides aren't going to fall out when I run, I'm going to start working on a training program this weekend that will lead up to some half marathon(s) for this fall.  I'll post it when I get it worked out.  I feel so refreshed from my LONG break and I'm ready to get going!

That sounds like an awesome plan! Which Halfs are you planning for Fall?

For now I'm thinking of doing some or all of the following: Provo River Trail Aug 11th, SLC Half Sept 1st and/or Layton Half Sept 29th, Provo Halloween Half Oct 27th. I would really like to do Snow Canyon, but not sure if that is in the cards this year. Do you have any tentative plans?

Sounds like a fun, smart plan. Ease back into it and you'll be feeling great in no time at all.
