2) Possibly take a shot at three hours in the marathon
Long run from my parents' condo after the 10K race in Richmond. Perfect, cool but sunny morning. First 7.5 miles in 60 minutes, then finished faster with overall time around 2:12 for 17 miles, averaging around 7:47. One pit stop at about 12 miles.
Easy in 64 minutes with 4 x strides.
Easy in 40 minutes.
3 x 1600 final workout. 5:51, 5:52 and 6:08 (ughh, blasted head cold and wind)
