Long run outside in 30 degree temps, 10-15 mph wind and sunny skies. Six miles easy, one mile threshold (6:3), three miles MP (6:53, 6:54, 6:51) then five miles easy, one mile at threshold (6:30), three miles MP (6:59, 7:00, 6:51) and final three miles easy. Overall time 2:48.

Sounds like a tough long run! Great running today. You don't consider MP fast miles??

Thanks! I tend to think of threshold pace as the cut-off. Threshold and faster is "fast" because it's less aerobic. Overall a workout with MP miles becomes a quality workout though, when a normal long run without MP miles isn't really a quality workout.
