AM - woke up late and it was raining hard - so I opted for a couple of miles on the treadmill.

AM - 5 miles with Finn on the Birmingham loop with light traffic on this holiday.   Legs felt heavy and slow - so I didn't grind but kept it easy and smooth.   Lots of rain overnight - but not too bad when we ran.

AM - 3 miles very early because of a flight and travel to NYC with a car pick-up at 5 am.  Avoided the rain somehow.

AM - 6 miles in Central Park in New York- here on business.  Ran quite quickly at tempo for some unknown reason.

AM - 3.25 miles in Central Park quite early in a light rain before heading to the airport.  Unless, I was out too early, it would appear that most of the runners in NYC choose not to run in the rain, because I think I saw a total of 3 runners in the park this morning whereas it usually has so many runners on a regular basis that it resembles a race.

AM - 5 miles with Finn in the neighborhood and around the golf course...much slower on the hills and in the humidity and with the dog than I was running in NYC earlier this week.

AM - 2 miles with Finn to give him some exercise because I was going to do a long run and he's no longer really able to safely do that at his age I think.   Then I met Ryan and Darryl at Summit Hill.  Pace was much more reasonable with them.  Ryan peeled off at around 7 miles and Darryl a little over 8 miles - and I did another 4 on my own a little faster than with them.  Good conversation - solid run.
