AM - a little less than 4.25 miles with Finn on the packed dirt/gravel roads of Brittle and Summit as the sun rose past the horse farms and pastures with deer and rabbits.  Needed to keep this easy and slow as the legs were feeling yesterdays workout.  Yoga afterwards.

I feel relaxed just from reading about that sunrise run - thanks! Does Finn run off-leash? My border collie would have been all over the deer and bunny aspect of that adventure.

It was a really peacefully awesome morning - wished I had my camera with me.

Finn runs off-lead on the former golf course behind my house - but it is currently closed to the public. I keep him on the leash on these roads I ran this morning just because there are some cars that occasionally pass by - and I am not too confident that I could keep him out of danger - or that'd just add some unwanted stress to the run. He absolutely loves to chase deer and rabbits. Yesterday morning in the dark, while on the leash, somehow got his mouth on a chipmunk who squeaked like a dog-toy until Finn released him...crazy dog.

yah dogs are awesome - Cassidy once pinned a squirrel with his paw but then realized he didnt really know what to do next so he released it and chased it up a tree.

Have a great weekend!
