AM - 5.75 miles with Dan and the dogs.  It had rained and stormed overnight, including some hail, but it was warm enough that I went shirtless the second half of the run.  Coincidentally, I think it was last year to the day, that I put in the blog that it was the first day of the year for shirtless running.

Dan had taken his dog, Rosie, off the leash when we were running on the golf course.   She inadvertently clipped my heel from behind when we were running on the cart path and took me down like a cornerback making a great open field tackle.   Scraped up my leg and knees, and Dan was overly apologetic and Rosie came over to offer her sympathies as well.  No real harm done - it looked worse than it actually was.

PM - 4 shirtless miles with Finn after work

Not sure the cornerback/open field tackle analogy works for a guy barely cracking 130 lbs soaking wet... how bout a cheetah taking down a juvenile gazelle... hyena cross checking a baby antelope. Sorry, maybe I got too caught up in your story ;-)

LOL - true - probably more accurate to say old dude fell when the tennis ball came off his walker....
