PM - lunchtime - treadmill workout.  12 x 400 at 5:50 pace with a 400 rest at 8:40 pace.  Warm up and cool down.  Felt like a solid effort.

I know you know this - but every now and then it is good to be reminded.

You cannot run fast if you do not train fast. The loss of speed is not so much doing too much endurance work, as it is NOT doing speed work. And...muscle loss with age is caused by disuse instead of the aging process. If you don't use it you lose it.

A road mile sounds like fun. Hopefully it is that downhill Peruvian thing!
