I took second at USATF Nationals Cross-Country when I was ten. I was 6th at nationals in the 3000 in 2004.

Personal:

I did lots of competitive running growing up. I'm now 23 and have fibromyalgia and CFS. I just finished nursing school and am going back for my MSN in a few months, but I want to get back in shape and be able to run again.

I did a bikram yoga class, then went for a short run 1.5 miles. There wasn't much time before work. I felt good.

I'm back in Arizona. I went for a 6 mile run along the canal. I went out 3 miles and back. On the way back I did 10x1 minute on 1 minute off. My time was 52:40, so 8:45 pace. I felt pretty good. Then I did some toe taps because my shins hurt a little bit. It's very hot here so that will take a couple of days to get used to.

Went just over 6 miles on the canal trail. I did the first 1.8 with Paul and then the rest on my own. It was 90 while I was running. My garmin kept loosing signal and turning off so that was frustrating and I don't know my time.

I went for my long run today. I went 5 miles out and back on the trail along the canal. It was really hot. At the half way point I took a gu and got some water. I felt much better on the way back. My legs felt good.

Jogged about a mile warm-up. I wanted to use this race as a starting point so I could see where I was. It was 4 miles and I ran in my trainers. There weren't too many people in the race and it was rolling hills throughout the whole thing. It took me 28:38 so 7:10 pace. I felt good. After the race I did 1.5 miles of cooldown. Then when I got back to the house I did 2 miles with paul.
