I took second at USATF Nationals Cross-Country when I was ten. I was 6th at nationals in the 3000 in 2004.

Personal:

I did lots of competitive running growing up. I'm now 23 and have fibromyalgia and CFS. I just finished nursing school and am going back for my MSN in a few months, but I want to get back in shape and be able to run again.

First leg of wasatch back relay. I was the 9th runner. It was super hot, probably about 95. It took me 24 :20 to run my leg.

I don't know what days I should put all of this under so I'll just put it here even though it was technically friday and saturday.

My second leg was 6.2 miles ranked moderate. I ran it in 47:47. It felt really good, I wanted to run hard but also save for the next leg. I was running at about 12 or so but I don't remember. Doing the two legs was good, and it didn't seem too hard until we had to figure out how to sleep and eat, and still be okay to run. When I finally started getting asleep, my dad started calling me (waking me up) to give me updates of how close they were to the exchange. The last leg was good except for when I got to the start of it I realized I was extremely hungry. I hadn't noticed before because I wasn't feeeling well, but when that cleared up I hadn't eaten really anything and wanted to but it was only a few minutes before my exchange. The last leg was so hard. The first mile or so was nice and easy, and I kind of new where I was going because it was the Swiss Days course, and I had went camping a little ways up the hill last year. I had never went as far up as I had to go for my exchange, and I thought I was going to die. I just wanted to keep moving and never have to walk, which I was able to do. The last leg was 3.3 miles and it took me 42:32. Now I'm exhausted, I was going to run more tonight to increase my miles but I don't think I have enough energy.

Our team, "UP YOURS", ended up taking 35th overall, and 2nd in the High School Male division. We couldn't be in the mixed division because we only had 4 girls. Our time ended up being 24:35.35
