Personal:

I did lots of competitive running growing up. I'm now 23 and have fibromyalgia and CFS. I just finished nursing school and am going back for my MSN in a few months, but I want to get back in shape and be able to run again.

Today was the 1500. I wasn't excited for the race at all. I didn't really warm-up for it. I started the race, and my only goal was not to be last (that's what I was seeded). I ended up running 5:38. The fastest I've ran all season, and I wasn't last. I was happy with the race, but I think if I would have been more focused I would have went faster.

Congrats, Breanna! This is a very good time. I think you're improving a lot this summer, and it's exciting! Your training is paying off. I wish I could run 5:38 in 1500... I think I can only do around 6:00 right now.
