Today we did a speed workout at the track. We did a loop around the park for our warm-up. Then we did 3 laps of speed changes and 1 lap slow. Then our workout was 5 sets of 400, 200, 100. We jogged one lap after the 400, and finished the lap on the 200 and 100. These were my times:

After the first 400, my nose started to bleed. It kept bleeding till the end of the second set. It was really hard to run and attempt to not get blood everywhere. I wasn't very successful. For my cooldown I jogged around the inside of the park which was a mile and a half. My leg hurt a little bit today but I think that was because I walked 3 miles earlier today and it normally hurts if I stand or walk for a long time. I was only planning on hitting 40 this week, but it looks like it might end up being 45. We start team workouts tomorrow morning so that will be fun. (Pegasus 97) |
