PR's

5K: 21:26 (2005)

4 mile: 28:10 (2005)

10K: 43:33 (2010)

10 mile: 1:13:35 (2009) (1:12:15 split in 1/2 marathon, 2011)

1/2 marathon: 1:34:31 (2011)

marathon: 3:19:15 (2013)

Short-Term Running Goals:

3:20 marathon - Eugene Marathon, April 28, 2013 (can I say I really want a sub 3:20? but I will be happy with 3:20-3:23) -- whoohoo!

Some good intermediate races 15K - 1/2 marathon, to gauge my fitness level (done this, hit a 1:34:35 1/2 marathon in March 2013, on a hilly course)

Going after my 10 mile PR in Fall 2013

Maybe some good 10K races after the infernal Arizona summer is over!

Long-Term Running Goals:

I want to be one of those runners who is still running in their 80s (or 90s?).  You know the ones, who look all grisley and fit?  That is what I would like!  Until then, I just want to work hard and be as fast as I can, for as long as I can.

2:06:37.  Maybe close to 15, I am not sure. I went out to Campbell Mesa (just like last week) - but I am getting much more acclimated to the altitude, I ran the first loop faster than last week and had a lot more energy for the final loop so I was booking it pretty hard the last 20` (not as fast as on the road because it is rocky and steep in many places on the trail.  I just felt GOOD.

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend bloggers!

1:13:47 ... could have been 8.5, I sort of "got lost" again -- I guess I will call it "rambling" or "investigating" all of the trails ;-)  Luckily they all pretty much come back to the same place +/- 1-5 miles!

Another beautiful day in Northern Arizona, too bad I have so many darn deadlines this week, I would love to go for a hike!!

I hope you are doing well!!!

AM: (9  miles, 1:16:57).  Dean is in Tucson this week (where it is still summer and hot all day every day), so in our morning email I told him it was 37F here when I got up!  He wrote back, "it is not polite to brag".  So, as penance, I run up the hard trail today, and ran it hard.  40:34 up and 36:23 down.  My foot hurts, and so does my hip, but "honey badger don't care" -- I am tough (for those of you not familiar with this you will have to pm me ... it is not quite family friendly).

PM: easy 4.

I hope you are all having a great day, and don't forget to go to Burt's blog today and write down your favorite number and/or color.

1:02:45.  Nice easy run on a bunch of trails ... I am trying to finish a project and have been working very long hours the last couple of days (6AM - 11PM), I don't like feeling like I am back in college.  Anyway, I hope to be finished tomorrow, especially since Dean is back now -- and it is harder to work these hours with him around.  See what my life would be like without him??  It really was like that without him ;-).

Happy Friday bloggers, race well and have fun tomorrow!!

It is not too late to write your favorite songs (sentence by sentence) on Burt's blog.

AM: (8 miles, 1:09:56).   Beautiful morning -- about 50F and sunny.  I ran a wonderful loop which will now be my "official Bonnie's 8 mile loop" for the remainder of our stay!  It is supposed to rain tomorrow -- which is good, I love doing my long runs in the rain!

PM: 4 miles easy.

Happy Saturday bloggers!

Don't forget to go over to Burt's blog and tell him what color your favorite vegetable is ... and which of Oprah's guests were the ones you taped and watched over and over.
