It was so much cooler today than last Sunday, it was about 78F at the start and a mere 85F at the end, I was so happy about that. The humidity was 73% at the start ... but went down considerably as it warmed up. I am very happy to report that Summer is over. Although we will still have high temps hovering around 95-98F for a while, the lows are supposed to be in the 70's for the next week -- yippee!! I might even feel a bit chilled in the morning ;-). So, right after I posted how the monsoon ruined my PM run last night we lost power and it did not come on until early this morning. The bad news was that I did not get to watch the Reiti track meet (Rudisha and Kiprock ran amazing races in the 800 and 1500!); the good news was that I got to bed earlier, and made headway on a book I am reading. I hope you are all doing well bloggers. I am remembering where I was on this day in 2001, and thinking how I can make the world a better place, that is what I am doing. Well, in between getting ready for a guest lecture I have to give to a 160 undergrads on Tuesday, getting ready for a lab meeting I have to speak in on Monday afternoon, oh yea, and get ready for class tomorrow ;-).
