I am married and have four children. I grew up in Colorado and was recruited to the U to run distance, then I transferred to Utah State University and ran for them. I walked this morning with a friend. We went a little over 4 miles and it felt good to get out and move. I wore my sling to prevent using my arm too much - which proved to be helpful and I was much more relaxed. I really miss running and it seems very cold to just walk, not to mention how much longer it takes. In due time I guess...still being patient.

You can get a good workout walking - it just takes more. I walked my first five marathons (95% or more)

glad you were able to get out and walk for a bit. i agree with maurine, it can still be a good workout. the patience will pay off. best wishes to you for a speedy recovery.
