Ran into Jake and Kolten on my way to the track, ran with them over to Koltens house and did a short lifting session with front squats, split squats, calf raises, weighted one legged deadlifts. Then I ran over to the park with Whitney. Ankle felt good today, no pain. Felt a little unstable on the split squats and single legged deadlifts but it's certainly improving. I think I'll go for 8 miles tomorrow to get to 30 for the week and if that feels good I'll try to hit 6-8 every day next week and do 10-12 miles next Saturday. Hopefully I can get back to doing some downhill tempos, only 3 months out from big bear so if I'm going to race that I need 10 weeks at 50 mpw+ and start building up my long runs. |
