Started off with an easy 1.5 miles. Was going to do a mile or 2 at marathon pace but it turned into 6.5 miles at a little faster than marathon pace. I felt good! I think I'll start doing some higher mileage days like once per week. Maybe like 10-15 miles running and a few walking. I'm also going to sign up for a half marathon, ideally in march before the baby comes. Not sure whether I'll try and go under 1:20 or if I'll just run goal marathon pace for the first half and then pick it up for the 2nd half and see what I can do. |
