We did a 30 min jog and then 6 200s. I just want to go race, and I want to do good. I don't think I am a very good runner, I thought I could finish top 10 at state senior year or even junior year, but I've just slowly been coming down to earth and realizing that it's not going to happen. I don't think I have the potential to do that, all there is to do is keep going and see what happens in the end. See where I CAN get, and try to make it a little better than it would have been every day.

You're a good runner, Blake. Just don't let yourself be defined by those bigger goals. Take it one race at a time, starting tomorrow. If you make small steps week to week, who knows where you'll end up?

Thanks Coach Jake, I think I need to stop worrying about times as much and just race. I need to get back to concentrating on passing some of those Bingham and Davis guys.
