I had a lot of things go wrong today, bad mentality, not enough warmup, and the race went out very slow (2:19 at the 800m). I would have taken the lead but I couldn't get around everyone without wasting a lot of energy. It probably would have been worth it but thats ok. I finished exactly where I was seeded, uneventful race. Tomorrow will be important, I need to run under 10:00. Right now I need to relax and think race strategy.

Shake it off and go run a great time in the 3200!

Off races happen Blake, you just have to shake them off like Jake says. It also wasn't a type of race to PR. Good luck tomorrow in the 3200, you'll kill it!

Thanks, it wasn't a great week but I can't complain about one week after such a great season. I am going to try and turn things around this coming week at JV region to get one last PR!
