I ran up to Brighton High School and did some laps on the track plus some more around the school grounds while waiting for my brother. I ran 8x400m on the track. TOUGH workout, I really put all of my energy into it. I ran 67, 67, 65, 68, 67, 68, 69, 67. I may have hit a couple seconds faster on a few of them. My brother timed me. I was barely able to cool down, I was so tired and out of energy I was about to pass out! I did a lap on the track and then ran back home. I also ran between each rep. I took 2 minutes between each 400m, a little longer between the first 4 and the second 4. Good workout, very hard work. I will do another 2 or 3 miles tonight.

Later- I went on an easy bike ride with my dad and then I did another 2 miles including running to the library. It was a good day of trianing, I took the 2 miles easy as well, they felt good.

70 seconds, maybe 69, was the right pace Blake. There is a danger of doing a workout too hard. Just because you CAN do something doesn't mean you SHOULD do something.

I love your attitude. You have the heart of a champion.

Thank you, it means a lot! Sorry, I will make sure to be more responsible with my workouts in the future, it feels good to know what kind of pace I need to run for sub 4:30 though.
