I have been struggling with achilles tendonitis for a few months but just a couple weeks ago it started really acting up and kept getting worse so I stopped running to let it heal. Its finally starting to feel better so I'm going to start back up by running the warm up with the team and maybe like a mile after that. And then I'm going to bike 30 mins and ice and heat my ankle. The goal is be up to 8-10 miles by the time I go home for the summer in 2-3 weeks. With getting sick, this ankle problem, and the problems with my throat/lungs that have been going on this has not been the best season for track. It was looking really good back in january but things happen. I have been struggling, not feeling very fast since then. But thats ok I, its not a permanent thing, there are ups and downs and I'm coming out of this low point and I'm going to make this upcoming cross season my highest point yet. My teammates have been doing phenomenal so I'm really excited for them and to get back to training with them.
