Its been a bad week for my running, I missed two days, although not completely without cause. My knees started bothering me last week and they still hurt on monday, so thats partially been the reason for my 2 days of rest, the other reason is because this week has just been a little crazy. Staying up until 2 or 3 and waking up around 11, one day I went to bed at 12 and woke up after 11. So I have just not been feeling like a run and really having no events to schedule my runs around, I've been lazy. But that's over, time to get back on track. No more staying up past midnight! I will try to get to bed around 11 for the rest of the summer, maybe even 10. But considering this was my 7th run since I started training for cross country, and I've only been running since last wednesday, 43:00 isn't too bad. Oh I got a watch, I tried to get some guys out to run with but no one came, I like my new watch. I also ran the first two miles in less than 13:00 so that was too fast for today, I was feeling pretty tired. Overall I am satisfied with the time and I am sure that running under 40:00 in 2 weeks is possible. In perspective, this is faster than I ever ran during the summer last year or even the cross country season. I also need to stop drinking milk again, I've been drinking a cup a day or so this entire week and theres a lot of mucas in my throat. This will be a good season.

You have to LIVE LIKE AN ATHLETE Blake.

No excuses. You can't talk like you have big goals and then live like you don't!!!!!

I'm glad you're training hard!

Thanks, and I've done a poor job this week, but next week will be much better, I promise!
