2015 Alta Track Athlete of the Year
Short-Term Running Goals:
Stay healthy and and build mileage
Get faster
Long-Term Running Goals:
Keep running
Run the Boston Marathon at least once
Personal:
Married, we have one daughter so far. I ran for Alta high school and was trained by Rob Murphy, he is a great coach, one of the best there is. I also ran for Southern Utah University.
I meant to do 8 today but my mom came sooner than I expected so I cut it short. I will run 8 tomorrow, probably another 40-45 mile week, maybe a little more.

Blake, have you sat down with Murphy and discussed a plan and schedule for your training?
In reading your last couple of entries it sounds like you need to get with him and get a little direction from him. It seems you are a little lost of what to be doing right now.

I've talked with him a little bit, mostly I'm just trying to get in some good weeks of training, not too hard but still good. But I will talk to him tomorrow and ask what I should do over the winter break before I get into indoor track!
