Afternoon- 5 stroller miles with Whitney

Evening- warmed up about 1.5 and then did 6x800m at 5k pace with about 2-2:30 jog between reps. There's a .4 mile paved loop next to my house and my Garmin gets the distance long/short depending on which direction I run it. My splits were 2:50, 2:45, 2:50, 2:39, 2:50, 2:38.

I switched directions between the 3rd and 4th and the 2:39 on the 4th rep felt pretty much equal effort to the 2:50 on the 3rd. I relaxed on the 5th to see what 2:50 that direction felt like, and because I felt like I'd probably pushed it a little hard the first half. Clockwise direction is at least 10 seconds faster for a half mile than counter clockwise.

Cooled down a little over a mile with a couple strides.
