2015 Alta Track Athlete of the Year
Short-Term Running Goals:
Stay healthy and and build mileage
Get faster
Long-Term Running Goals:
Keep running
Run the Boston Marathon at least once
Personal:
Married, we have one daughter so far. I ran for Alta high school and was trained by Rob Murphy, he is a great coach, one of the best there is. I also ran for Southern Utah University.
Bad race, very cold. 30 minute cool down in which I started feeling really weird and my asthma is really bothering me, especially right now. Sometimes I wonder if my medicine is a placebo.

What was your time?

4:44, I ran a 63 second first lap in which i ran into a lacrosse player, I probably could've run 4:35 if not for that alone, then there was the untied shoe and freezing temperatures also hurting my time. So very bad race.

Blake, that is a really good time for this early. Also considering, the events that occurred during the race and that it was a time trial, I think it was a very good time.
