Bad race, I just didn't do very well for some unknown reason, my 2nd mile was really slow. I also left my watch there so that sucks. I really don't want to drive all the way back, especially because I might not even find it.

I have your watch. What brand is it?

You said your goal was to be in the top 30, 35th is pretty close. Probably not as bad of a race as the time indicates. Take a look back at your workouts this last week. They look pretty good, except, maybe it was not a smart idea to do 14 miles on Thursday. You might have still been lacking in energy after doing that workout. Was this an important race, or were you training through this race?

This race was not even remotely important. It was just about getting a little racing in between the state meet and Nike Southwest. Hence the 14 miles on Thursday.

Yes, and I've not been getting enough sleep lately because of some stuff, I think it was just the slow time and missing out on medaling that kind of made the race seem like a bad one. And my asthma was acting up, my throat and lungs were burning. I will need to get out to a good start on Monday to get in a good final week of training for Arizona. I'm still going for sub 16:00. Thanks for grabbing that Ashton.
