2 miles of warm up and then a mile in 5:05, a little faster than I'd planned. A lap recovery, then an 800m in 2:25, too slow, I was distracted. Then we did 4 400ms, the first two were at mile pace from Friday, I ran 70 and 72, then the last two were at goal pace, I ran too fast 63 and 62. I can't let things get in my head no matter what, no matter how big the distraction or mental hurdle, I've just got to stay in control and run the workout that I need to run. |
