| | 8 this morning fromy house to the Jordan river trail, 7:35 AP wish it could have been faster but my Achilles felt like a fruit roll up lol. Went to Moab with the fam and hiked delicate arch today, which was lit Ran 2 miles tonight in moab to get 10 for the day. Everything hurts, hopefully things get better. | |

| | Ran 7 this morning in a beautiful canyon along the Colorado rive, but once again, legs felt tight so pace was slow, 7:40 average. Hiked arches all day with the fam so between hiking and running the last two days I have 35 miles Ran 3 this evening to the high school here, felt a little better got 10 for the day | |

| | Met up with landon because he is also down in Moab, so we went to the high school here to do our speed workout. 3 mile warmup around the school and then started the workout. 2x600,500,400,300 at mile pace, splits were 1:45, 1:29, 71, 51, 1:53, 1:33, 72, 53. Decent for how my legs were feeling. We saw the track team here practicing....lol. 1 mile cool down after Ran 4 this evening after hiking all day so for the week I am a 52 miles lol. Anyways it was the scariest run of my life, I would not recommend doing a night run by yourself in a place you are unfamiliar with. Thankful there is no more high mileage this week, bc its flippin hard | |

| | Ran 5 around my house when I got back from Moab 7:30 AP, gonna move my tempo run to Saturday and do it with jags. Went to park city with some homies and ran 1.5 around the outlets in my LBJ flip flops lol I didnt feel like shopping. Did 1.5 more to finish the night, I hate running by myself. | |

| | Met up with jags, big t and landon to do a percentage run and we thought it would be fun to do it on the AF XC course because it jst brought back the feels of the good old times lol. Warmed up two mikes before the workout. The workout was one mile at 1 minute slower than two mile pace, two miles 1 minute slower than mile pace and then finished with an all out 800. We ran the first mile together and got a 6:11, which was a little fast, and in the second mile I separated from them because they didn't drop the pace enough and I couldn't even drop the pace as much as I would have liked and so the next two miles were hard and my legs felt way heavy. Splits were 6:03, 6:09. Then the 800 on the track was insanely hard but I pulled out a 2:42 so that was decent, it was a good workout to finish the week with. Cooled down to 8. I have been questioning myself a lot lately about why I have been trying so hard and pushing myself to the breaking point, as track season is all I have left and it is very improbable that I will get close to making state, but I'm starting to figure out why. I saw this quote that said "don't focus on what you can't do, but rather focus on what you CAN do to make yourself the best you can be" and that inspired me and I'm definitely ready to destroy the rest of track season and go out on a high note. Also, it was super cool to see all the utah runners kill it at Arcadia, especially the 4x1600 Lehi team with their fifth place finish and awesome PRS by Collin and connor #gang. And I was inspired by the most clutch race I have ever seen as Connor took second in the two mile and made it look simple and easy, suckas a str8 grinder, stay cool with the jack fam! | |
