Met up with Bryant and Jon and Bret and Bryant's brother Trevor at Lee's Market in North Ogden. Warmed up to Weber Highs track.

Workout felt good energy is getting better so that's a plus. Decided it would be best if I pulled out of Utah Valleys Marathon this weekend. My gut feeling is that it would be more of a set back then a positive with being sick last week. So right now I am going to save the legs and start training for some fast 5K's and hopefully nail a sub 1:09 in the Half Marathon.

Snuck in an extra couple miles before work.

Sorry to hear that you are going to have to pull out of UVM. I was looking forward to running it with you, but you have to do what's best for the long term. You will easily get some 1:09 (or faster) halves this summer; you are looking strong. Nice workout.

Nice workout. Sorry that you've been sick, It's always rough trying to train through that. I do have to say that I'm quite offended that I didn't get invited to the workout this morning!! You still headed to St. George this weekend? If so, we should meet up for some good runs down there!

I too pulled out of UVM due to my gimpy hip. Hope you continue to improve from the bug you and the family had.

Hope to run with you again soon. If you come to Yellowstone, you have a place to stay on the way up in IF.

Get well.
