Chiro and PT followed by strength and core training. Had a great workout and then went for a short run. I ran easy for 3.5 miles and then decided to run a fast mile to see if I remember how. It came out at 5:12. Felt controlled and not all out but it was a bit of a shock to the system. Ran an easy cool down mile and called it a day.
I was all set to hit some trails up after work. Pulled in the parking lot, changed, got all excited to run off into the sunset.... Whoops... Forgot my headlamp :/. So i went down to the store and made it just in time for the group run. Turned out fun. Still can't find the headlamp..6:54
Pre turkey miles from Mom's on the Parley's route to the scout camp. It's about 90% dirt. It was sooo cold. I turned around up the canyon when I couldn't feel my hands anymore, it got really cold up there (probably less than 15 degrees). I decided to push it for a 5k after a mile push started off well and it turned out good. New 5k PR on the dirt descent back to Mom's. 16:48 :).
