Ran from my parent's house in Mount Pleasant. It's absolutely gorgeous there right now. Clear blue skies and clean air. I ran up Parleys road to the gate then across the flood dam and up to the power plant park. Mostly snow covered dirt road and chunder on the way up. I wanted to make it all the way to the scout camp but once I got into the secluded deep stuff there were 3 sets of fresh cat tracks which changed my mind. Didn't want any run ins with wildlife today so I turned around and got a good tempo push on the way back. 1300 ft of climb. The return was fun on the pavement with an aided grade.

That is just a beautiful part of Utah. Wise call on avoiding bit cats and great job on your run!

Spence if a big cat scratched me right now gravy would spill out. Just sayin' :).

I'm enamored by big cats. One of the recent Nat Geo issues had a interesting article with some cool hidden camera photos:

I'd be a little freaked out seeing their pawprints. They're beautiful, but man - they would rip you to shreds if they wanted to :-)
