In May 2010 I was large and started running. Now I'm much smaller :), -63 lbs.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Merge road and trail running and adventure run bonkers.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Sub 2:30 marathon. Run my best at distances from half marathon to 100 miles.

Personal:

Happily married with 4 great kids. Running is but one of the amazing vehicles for connecting with others and celebrating life. Gratitude!

45 minutes hard effort on the stairmaster.

25 minutes hills on the elliptical aerobic effort.

65 minutes vertical running on the treadmill. 5.25 miles. 6004 vert.

10 minute cool down on the elliptical. 

Fit wise i will be ready to finish Boston. just need to get better. Made good progress this week.

Thanks guys. Bam I'm not racing Boston, the plan is to finish with a smile and just enjoy the experience without putting any pressure on myself. I plan on running some as soon as the body allows but i want to stay as fit as i can in the meantime.

The science project has more to do with strength training and diet change. I am now walking around at less than St. George race weight. It will be interesting to see what happens when i can run 80-90 miles a week with a semi new body. Details to come.
