The kids and I went and ran this race with the neighbors.  Shelby and Natalie decided to run the 1 mile kids race so they ran with the neighbor kids and Natalie finished second overall!  I ran the 5k and battled back and forth with Carson (14 years old!) who just ran the TOU half in 1:17.  This kid wants to win more than any kid that age I've ever seen.  I must have passed him 4 times and he passed me back immediately.  We were laughing so hard at the end!  Tendon felt great even though I ran in flats for the first time in 5 months.

nice job breaking 16 Steve. I was actually thinking of running that,my wife did the one mile for her school, but I didn't know if anyone else would show up so i skipped it. Now I am wishing I had run, bummer. So is Carson the kid we ran with in Wellsville too? that kid has some serious talent!
