Good run. Does 5:45 mean the pace or the time of day?
I see that you are planning the Melbourne Beaches HM for the Master's championship...cool! I was ready to do that one as well but my schedule and family commitments just did not allow for it. Good luck against some tough competiion (I have run with some of those fellas and they are strong and fast!).

5:45 pace. But it was on a treadmill and I think that's a bit faster isn't it? No wind resistance.
Yeah, I'm nervous about the Masters stuff. Those guys are way faster than I am. I think the Austin Half actually attracts faster Masters than The USATF. Several of them go below 1:08 each year.
This year both are sponsored races for me which is a totally new thing. Have you had any luck with Master's sponsoring? It would be cool to get some more ideas.
Last question, have you ever done the Hood to Coast Relay? I have a team asking me to join.

I would be happy with 1:15 or so. I don't think I'll run any faster than I practice this year. There's only so fast I can nget going!
