I have raised two running children, one competitive and one not.

I have learned to run in ice and snow and I don't complain.

Get my 5K down to 21:30.

Place in my division at duathlon and triathlon.

Train for biathlon.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Joining Forrest Gump

Too tired to post this last night!  I really don't like working out so late.  I decided I needed to try out the shorts I am wearing for the duathlon.  They are biking shorts, but with minimal padding, so I just wanted to make sure I could run comfortably in them.  I biked an hour or so first, then arrived at the meeting place for my groups' hill workout.  This workout is not many miles, but its rather insane.  Perhaps too much hard running after Sunday's long run with tempo bits.  I felt good running in the shorts, and felt fine after the run, but the bike ride home over Alabama Hill kicked my butt, really.  I thought that hill would never end.

Tired legs.

Alabama Hill - love the name!

Good thing you had some padding since that bike ride kicked your butt.

That's a hard workout. Many years ago when I lived in Silver Beach and commuted by bike I used to go around through some route north of my neighborhood to avoid that Alabama Hill. (Can't remember now what that road was called.) That's your Leg Builder Hill I guess. Smart of you to test the shorts! Good job.

Great job with the tough work outs!

Yet you made it up the hill like a champ, as always!

Glad the shorts worked out for ya! That biking is tough on the tush!

I love a good hiney kicking - makes me feel like I worked out hard (and then I eat a few more treats!)
