(first 1/2 ever!!! about 7th girl and 45th overall)

Personal:

Just started running XC last summer with Coach Barnes at Riverton High. One year of long distance track, competing in all three distance events. Now on the Cross Country team at UVU for my freshman year of college.

Did a 1.5 mile warm up before my first little 5K road race. (Raced along the jordan river parkway) It was a fun little race. I took first place for the girls by a long shot and finished with a 20:16. I know I could have gone faster but this wasn't an intense race so I wasn't too worried.
Afterwards Barnes met up with me and Derrek to do 4 more miles which put me at another 50 Mile Week!!!
