Today was one of my first speed workouts in a while.. it was way hard because I was trying to go fast but I was running by myself so nothing was pushing me to go faster... but I did a 10 min warm up 6 800's with 3 min rest in between and a 10 min cool-down. I wasn't going as fast as I know I could if others were there pushing me along but I was hitting 3:05 for each 800 and 3:02 for the last one. Couldn't have expected much better for a speed day by myself but definitely wasn't what I wished.. oh well! |
